We all know life is full of choices. But doesn’t it often seem like the life we have is anything but chosen? Patterns, automatic reactions and circumstances often seem to dominate our relationships and dictate our experience of life. Craving certainty, we can easily come to view life through fixed assumptions and beliefs about ourselves, others and life that consign us to living a life of limited options and incremental improvement. Simply stated, we cease to explore the possibilities God continues to offer in life in order to have predictability, safety and comfort. The Explore Reality Seminar is designed to have you discover what’s operating underneath the strategies and automatic reactions you employ and open up new options. As a result, the relationships you have toward God, others, self and circumstances can be aligned in a way that supports choice. T. S. Eliot says, “We should never cease exploration, and the end of our exploring shall be when we arrive where we began and know the place for the first time.” This way of engaging life creates wonder, possibility, and “romance”. The Explore Reality Seminar provides an arena where you can explore beyond your familiar tried and true beliefs and strategies which have produced the life you currently live. This 3 day seminar consists of Biblically based lecturettes, experiential exercises, small group and one-to-one interactions and reflective opportunities all designed to support you in discovering what it takes for you to produce what you say matters in life. You will have the opportunity to observe the results of your choices as well as experiment with what alternative choices produce, so that you can truly live a life of your choosing.
